I want to express my gratitude to you.
Those who know me, know how much I struggle with writing, spelling and grammar. It doesn’t come easy to me and I’ve found it hard to stay commited to doing it. Creating a writing habit was one of my goals this year which I’m a little bit proud of achieving.
I believe that knowledge is power. It will help you to make better decisions and feel more confident and empowered to live the life you want. So I feel it’s important to share knowledge and challenge thinking to help people to develop and evolve.
Sometime I dare to write about emotions in sport and fitness, or deeper topics than most of the superficial insta stuff. It probably limits my shares. I’m glad if my words poke you and make you think about things, what you have been avoiding, doing, maybe even leading you to making a change now…..or sometime in the future.
So I wanted to say that I am genuinely grateful to those of you who like, comment and share my posts. In general there is little feedback. I don’t have products to sell and nothing to gain from doing it. Putting my ideas out there to be judged is scarey. So it’s great to know when what I’ve written has impacted you. And in doing this you have motivated and encouraged me to continue sharing.
I want to use my experience to remind you that if you commit and work at something, you can get better at it too. .
Be it writing, training, speaking, coaching, competing. Just because you find it hard now, it doesn’t mean your not good. Someone will always value what you say. Even though mostly you won’t know. We like to know. But know that we can’t. .
Like everything, with effort and focus your persistence will pay off and before you know it, you have developed another useful habit or skill which will help you and likely have a positive impact on others too.
What do you want to improve over the next year?
